With the introduction of the Low Emission Zone, diesel powered cabs must meet Euro 6 emission levels in order to be compliant.

Non-Euro 6 TX taxis can be retrofitted with a brand new Euro 6 petrol-LPG engine from Vehicle Repowering Solutions Ltd. Approved by the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS).

This significantly reduces some of the most health harming pollutants such as particulates (99%) and NOx emissions (80%) as well as reducing fuel costs by 20-30%.

Furthermore, Transport Scotland currently offer generous grants to help pay towards the cost.
